Birdsong Construction was first established in the 1920's by George Washington Birdsong, the grandfather of Birdsongs current president Lanny Russell. At that time, projects were simply repairing barns and wagons, and an occasional improvement to the local general mercantile, hardware and barber shop. Then in the 1930's he assisted the Army Corp of Engineers as a subcontractor (at that time no one knew what a subcontractor was) on the Bagnal Dam in Missouri and from there Birdsong flourished through the depression years.
Today Birdsong Construction primarily focuses on commercial and residential construction and remodeling of all kinds. We provide services in all phases of construction. Our services extend to commercial buildings, insurance companies, hotels, condominium complexes, homeowner associations and single family housing.
